It’s a Celebration!!!

Wow How time flies. How about THREE DECADES!

Our Farmers Market, founded in 1978 by Chris Smith and Charlotte Garrido, is celebrating several longtime market members this weekend.  A number of our vendors have belonged to the market for more than ten years, but a few have been members for over three decades:

  • Davis Farm (Marilyn Davis)   35 years
  • Linda Young crafts  34 years
  • Eufracia’s Backyard Gardens (Eufracia Garcia)  31 years
  • Tom Farmer Oyster Company (Tom Farmer)   30 years

These four members have been at our Saturday Market regularly, rain or shine, for over three decades, providing our community with quality local farm and craft products and helping insure the success of our farmers market.  We thank them for their consistency and dedication.

We think these folks are just pretty amazing!  We invite the public to stop by to join us in congratulating them and to join us for celebration cake and refreshments.  The Crichton Family Band will be playing 12-2.
